Janet Kilonzo is a 21 year old, Kenyan- Rwandese born actress. Janet began her training at the National Youth Theatre on the Summer of 2017 in England. There, she studied under course director and Actor, Nikesh Patel.
In 2018, she was accepted into the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts two year conservative program in New York City.
During her time in the Academy Janet portrayed characters from well-known plays such as Gwendolen in Importance of being Earnest, Nurse in Romeo & Juliet and Mattie in Wedding band, to name a few.
Janet is known for being a smart, strong and playful actress who takes on any challenge thrown her way and succeeds.
Janet has now graduated from the Academy's 2020-21 New York Company and is now based locally in NYC. Her most recent performance is Jane in The Broken Machine by Lizy Dufy Adams, directed by Shelley Butler.
Currently Janet will be doing a reading of the play 'Big Maggie' by at the New York Irish Centre.
